Tour to Peacock Island (UNESCO World Heritage Site)

Berlin Branch of German Tsukuba Society will organize a little trip to the Peacock Island (Pfaueninsel) on the 7th of August 2016.
Peacock Island is located in the River Havel situated in Berlin-Wannsee, in southwestern Berlin, near the border with Potsdam and Brandenburg, and is part of UNESCO World Heritage Site (for further information see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pfaueninsel).
We'll have a short tour around the island, take a look at the historic sites (Palace, Dairy, Gentlemen's House) and have a picnic on one of island's lawns.
Everybody visiting Berlin at this time is very welcome to join in! We meet at 1p.m. at the Wannsee train station. You only need to bring your lunch and 4 euro for the ferry to the island (3 euro for students)
