Reception with University of Tsukuba Alumni: Boston Chapter Launch

On September 6, 2024, a total of 18 attendees gathered at The Cheesecake Factory at Cambridgeside, U.S. for the University of Tsukuba Alumni Reception, marking the establishment of the Boston chapter. Among the participants was Omar Samir, Vice President of the Tsukuba Universal Alumni Network (TUAN), which was launched last October 2023.
Although most attendees live and work in Boston, many were meeting each other for the first time in person, creating an exciting atmosphere of camaraderie. Faculty and staff from the University of Tsukuba, some of whom are also UT alumni and who were in Boston for the University of Tsukuba Night 2024 event held the day before, joined the alumni dinner. This provided a wonderful opportunity for engaging conversations about their research experiences at Tsukuba and updates on their current endeavors.
