Study in Tsukuba Briefing Session Held for German Students

On June 16, 2017, a briefing session for students from the Free University of Berlin, who are planning to study in the University of Tsukuba this fall, was held at the Campus of the Free University of Berlin.
During the session representatives of the Alumni Meeting shared their exchange year experience and answered questions about Tsukuba University and daily life in Japan. Also exchange students from the University of Tsukuba who currently study in Berlin as well as Professor Keiichi Aizawa, Director of the Tsukuba University Bonn Office and the founder of "Baumkuchentreffen" (the precursor of the German Tsukuba Alumni Meeting) participated in the meeting.
The briefing was followed by a special Alumni meeting where the future exchange students from Germany, current exchange students from Tsukuba and several generations of Alumni could come together and get to know each other in a less formal, cozy atmosphere over a dinner.
We wish the future exchange students a fruitful and exciting time in Tsukuba and looking forward to hear their stories upon their return to Germany!
