Presentation of GEPON (Comparative Energy Development Project) project at the Free University of Berlin

On 28 February 2017 Professor Leslie Tkach-Kawasaki from Tsukuba University has visited the Free University of Berlin where she and her colleagues from the Free University Prof. Miranda Schreurs and Verena Blechinger-Talcott gave a presentation on the recent developments of the GEPON project (Comparative Energy Development Project) which aims to investigate the differences between German and Japanese energy policy (including nuclear energy policy) in the post-Fukushima era since 2011.
The presentation has touched upon the following topics:
(1) Renewable Energy Sector in Japan: Tsukuba Clean Center and Solar Energy in Tsukuba (Case Studies)
(2) CEDP & the GEPON 2 German Survey: Methodological Overview and Progress Report
