The University of Tsukuba Alumni Association knows the importance of personal information protection in a sophisticated information-communication society, observes laws and regulations in its handling, and endeavors to protect personal information pursuant to the National University Corporation University of Tsukuba Personal Information Protection and Management Regulations (Corporation Regulations No. 6 of 2005;hereinafter referred to as “Regulations”) and policy outlined below on the Tsukuba Alumni Network (T-Net) Website.
Acquisition and Retention of Personal Information
- 1.The Tsukuba Alumni Network (T-Net) Website shall acquire personal information in a legitimate and fair manner.
- 2.The Tsukuba Alumni Network (T-Net) Website may retain personal information only when it is necessary for performing duties and shall specify the purpose as much as possible and shall not retain personal information beyond the scope necessary for achieving the specified purpose of use.

The University of Tsukuba shall confirm that the person has the right to request disclosure, correction, suspension, and deletion of his/her own personal information and with regard to these requests, react promptly pursuant to the “regulations”. Please contact the office that deals with disclosure requests of personal information at the Department of General Affairs of the University of Tsukuba (Division of Legal Affairs, Department of General Affairs) if you have any questions or concerns about the handling of personal information of the University of Tsukuba.
Disclosure, Correction, Suspension, and Deletion of Personal Information
The Tsukuba Alumni Network (T-Net) Website shall institute proper information security countermeasures against fraudulent access, computer virus, etc. to maintain accuracy and prevent loss, damage, falsification, leakage, etc. of the retained personal information.
