University of Tsukuba Beat Vegalta Sendai (J1) in the Emperor’s Cup 2nd Round

The University of Tsukuba Men’s Football Club beat Vegalta Sendai (J1*) 3 to 2, in the second round of the 97th Emperor's Cup All Japan Football Championship on June 21. They beat a J1* club for the first time in the university's football club’s history.
The club advanced to the third round, where they will face Avispa Fukuoka (J2) on July 12.
