●151st+50th Anniversary of the University of Tsukuba
October 1st, 2023 marks the milestone of 151 years since the inception of our predecessor, the Normal School, and the 50th anniversary of establishing the University of Tsukuba as a comprehensive research-oriented university.
Therefore, we develop this commemorative celebration with a new slogan that encapsulates our respect for history and our hopes for the future: “DESIGN THE FUTURE, TOGETHER.”

●Study in Japan Booth in Brazil
The University of Tsukuba opened the Study in Japan booth, which took place at the 23rd Japan Festival in Sao Paulo from July 15 to 17. A Staff of the Bureau of Global Initiatives, along with former international students, gave some advice to students about going to Japan.

On July 9th, five Peruvian Alumni of the University of Tsukuba held a reunion in Lima city, Peru. They had a great time exchanging about their career paths and sharing their experiences in Tsukuba. Currently, they are involved in educational projects in schools and other projects linked to local governments.
