About Malaysia-Japan Research Centre (MJRC, Universiti Malaya)

The Malaysia-Japan Research Centre (MJRC, Universiti Malaya) has been awarded the Grant Assistance for Cultural Grassroots Projects of Japan by the Japanese government. We are very glad to share that news because the head of the MJRC is Dr. Jamila Mohd, who is an alumna of our University.
Dr. Jamila Mohd was appointed Head of the Malaysia Japan Research Center in Universiti Malaya, Malaysia's top university, in 2021. The University of Malaya's website also states that Dr. Jamila Mohd is an alumna of the University of Tsukuba and that she hopes to work closely with our university. We look forward to a stronger collaboration between our universities in the future.
