Sophomore wins first gold for Japan at Track Cycling World Cup!

Ms. Yumi Kajiwara, who is in her 2nd year at the School of Health and Physical Education, prevailed at the Women Elite- Omnium of the Tissot Union Cyclist International (UCI) World Cup III, held in Milton, Canada last December 1-3, 2017.
She finished first place in all four events: scratch race, elimination race, tempo race, and points race. The winner of the Omnium is the rider who has obtained the highest total points, a brilliant achievement for Ms. Kajiwara, as well as for our university, and for Japan.
