"University Campus Shuccho Jugyo (school visit) 2017" was held on October 5, 2017 under the topic: Creation of Suzuki, at Tsukuba campus when the University of Tsukuba (UT) invited the representative director and president of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Mr. Toshihiro Suzuki.
"University Campus Shuccho Jugyo (school visit) 2017" is one of the projects which Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (JAMA) has been organizing since fiscal year 2013. The purpose of this is "to foster the interest in automobiles" among young generation, as well as "to enhance understanding of automobile industry and manufacturing". Top enterprises in the two-wheel and four-wheel vehicle industries were invited to universities to give special lectures. It was sponsored by Suzuki Motor Corporation and UT.
New models of two-wheeled vehicles and four-wheeled vehicles were displayed which attracted many interested students and also faculty members and administrative staff. Their strong interest was evident by their enthusiasm in looking and touching the products.
