Student sports champions visit President Nagata

Ms. Nanami Onishi of the Kendo Club and Ms. Rieko Takahashi, one of the national team members for goalball, a ball sport for visually impaired players, made a courtesy visit to President Nagata, Vice President Tamagawa (Student Affairs), and Vice President Shimizu (Education) on August 22, 2017.
Ms. Onishi was the top placer in the All Japan Inter-prefectural Women's Kendo Championship held last July, while Ms. Takahashi played for the national team at the International Goalball Tournament held in Sweden (May) and in Lithuania (June). The Japanese national goalball team finished fourth place.
On behalf of the university, President Nagata commended Ms. Onishi and Ms. Takahashi for their amazing feats. They certainly make the university proud!
