Growing Tunisian Community at University of Tsukuba

On March 11 2026, His Excellency Mr. SAITO Jun Ambassador of Japan to Tunisia hosted a special reception in honor of the MEXT Scholarship awardees. The event brought together Tunisian Alumni of Japanese universities and newly selected students in a friendly atmosphere to share experiences.
Three outstanding Tunisian students will start their academic and research careers at the University of Tsukuba. A representative of UTTAA shared some valuable advice and practical recommendations to help them prepare for both academic and everyday life in Tsukuba.
At the University of Tsukuba, these students will try to contribute to Design the Future.
