Japan–Tunisia Research Cooperation Workshop

On Tuesday, 3 February, the Water Research and Technologies Center (CERTE) of Borj Cedria, Tunisia organized a Japan–Tunisia Research Cooperation Workshop.
The workshop aimed to:
• Share the experience of a CERTE researcher after completing her training at the University of Tottori ;
• Introduce scholarship opportunities available to Tunisian students : MEXT Scholarship managed by the Embassy of Japan and the African Business Education Initiative (ABE) managed by JICA;
• Provide an overview of the SATREPS program ;
The event was moderated by Dr Mohamed Kefi, Associate Professor at CERTE and member of UTTAA. Dr Kefi contributed to the success of the event by sharing his academic and research experiences in Japan and at University of Tsukuba
The discussions were very fruitful and the audience showed great interest in collaboration between Tunisia and Japan.
