Japan Alumni Meeting Tunisia 2024

On July 11, 2024, the first Japan alumni meeting was held in Tunis. The event was co-organized by University of Tsukuba, Embassy of Japan in Tunisia, and J-MENA Project Kyushu University with JICA and UTTAA as partners.
The event was attended by approximately 60 participants including Tunisian alumni from Japanese Universities and Japanese professors. Alumni from various Japanese Universities such as "University of Tsukuba, Kyushu University, Tohoku University, Hokkaido University, University of Tokyo, University of the Ryukyus, Nagoya University, Okayama University, Osaka University, Seikei University, Gifu University, and Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology" participated at the meeting. The event was attended by Prof. NAGATA Kyosuke, President of the University of Tsukuba, as well as several professors and staff from the University of Tsukuba and other universities. During the event, Dr. KEFI Mohamed provided an overview of UTTAA and its activities. Dr. Nadia Sendi shared her experiences at University of Tsukuba and in Japan. The meeting was fruitful and it offers a great opportunity for Alumni to reconnect and to explore potential opportunities for further cooperation between Tunisia and Japan.
