Alumni Reunion Held in San Francisco Bay Area

We held an alumni reunion in the San Francisco Bay Area on Saturday, 11 February 2023, at the Izakaya-Gochi restaurant in Cupertino, California. A group of 18 members gathered for a fun evening. We spent the night reminiscing (and discussing which dorm we lived in when we were in Tsukuba and what circles/extra-curricular activities we joined in) regardless of our nationality, graduation year, or field of specialization. As this year marks the 50th anniversary of UT, we hope to see more reunion activities in other regions of North America in the future!
去る2月11日土曜日に、筑波大学校友会北アメリカ主催による、サンフランシスコーベイエリア同窓会が、Cupertino市の日本居酒屋レストランで開催されました。近郊で活躍する同窓生、また南カリフォルニア、アーバインからの参加者も含めて１８名が参加しました。所属していた寮などの懐かしい筑波ネタも飛び出し、出身国籍、年代、業種を超えて、楽しく旧交を温めました。大学創立５０周年ということもあり、今年は北アメリカの他の地域などにも活動を広げて行けたらいいですね。
