TICAD8 Side Event

Tunisia hosted the TICAD 8 on August 27, 28, 2022, the 8th edition of TICAD, Tokyo International Conference on African Development.
In order to debate about research, innovation and science in Africa, the AFJASSST was organized. This event was co-organized by several Institutions and supported from FABA.

Several fields of research as Water, Energy, Material Sciences, Biotechnology, health and ICT were discussed. Technical sessions were held on Aug. 24 and 25, 2022. The main outcomes were presented on Sept. 1 2022, during the TICAD8 official Side Event “TUNISIA TICAD INNOVATION”.
Dr. Mohamed KEFI, from UTTAA, Deputy General Coordinator of AFJASSST was involved in this event.
Prof. Hiroko ISODA and Prof. Mitsutoshi NAKAJIMA from University of Tsukuba were also invited as expert to participate this TICAD8 Official Side Event.
