Iftar (collective breakfast)

Every year, each muslim community in Tsukuba organizes a collective breakfast, (called iftar in Arabic) once during Ramadan. These iftar happen on Sundays and make part of the celebrations of the Muslim Holly month.
The Tunisian community composed of students, post docs and their relatives (usually wives) participated along with the Arabic community of Tsukuba in the organization of one iftar event. Among the organizing communities were also members from Sudan, morocco, Algeria, libiya and Egypt.
This iftar (breakfast) was held on the first weekend of Ramadan (28th of May) in Tsukuba masjid. Around 250 persons attended the iftar. Nationalities were from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, central Asian countries And some Japanese guests too.
All attendees could enjoy the Arabic meals.
