German Tsukuba Society Meeting Held in Berlin / 筑波大学ドイツ校友会ベルリン支部会合を実施

The German Tsukuba Society held a meeting in Berlin on June 27. Director Keiichi Aizawa of the University of Tsukuba Bonn Office took charge of the meeting.
About twenty students attended the meeting, including students in Berlin who have studied or plan to study at the University of Tsukuba, and students of the University of Tsukuba who are studying at the Free University of Berlin. The attendees enjoyed talking about their academic life.
President Kyosuke Nagata, Vice President Caroline Fern Benton, and Director Osamu Oneda of the Office of Global Initiative joined the meeting later that day. They took the opportunity to have a talk and become better acquainted with the students and the alumni association staff.
They also have a plan to attend an event of JANET FORUM 2016 scheduled for June 30 at the Free University of Berlin.
The meeting was a great opportunity for participants to deepen exchanges.

2016年6月27日、筑波大学ドイツ校友会ベルリン支部会合が開催されました。相澤ボンオフィス所長呼びかけのもとベルリン市内で行われた本会合には、ベルリン在住の筑波大学留学経験者をはじめ、これから筑波に留学を予定している学生、筑波大学からベルリン自由大学に留学中の学生ら約20名が参加し、互いの近況報告など話に花を咲かせました。会合後半には、日独共同学長シンポジウムおよびJANET FORUM 2016に参加するためベルリン入りした永田学長、ベントン副学長、大根田国際室長らが加わり、校友会員らと大いに親交を深めました。参加した校友会員からは、学長と身近に触れ合う機会を持つことができ、大変嬉しかったとの声が寄せられました。
